Role Overview
As a Technical Program Manager, you will lead intricate technical programs from inception to completion, orchestrating efforts among independent scientists, engineers, and technical professionals. This role involves managing multiple interrelated workstreams where hardware development, R&D, manufacturing, and scientific validation unfold concurrently, each dependent on the other.
Key Responsibilities
Direct technical programs that encompass hardware components and scientific validation across various simultaneous workstreams.
Oversee program timelines, budgets, and resource distribution across numerous dynamic projects.
Monitor critical interdependencies between R&D, hardware development, scientific validation, and manufacturing readiness.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary scientists to convert research insights into technical specifications.
Partner with hardware engineering teams for component selection, design validation, and manufacturing preparedness.
Coordinate with security experts to ensure compliance with privacy and security standards across teams and projects.
Manage relationships with vendors, including component suppliers, manufacturers, and testing facilities.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for technical and supply chain vulnerabilities.
Facilitate technical evaluations and integration decisions across diverse project contributors.
Report program progress, risks, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical program documentation while respecting contributor independence.
