About the job
Assurity Trusted Solutions (ATS) is dedicated to providing secure and trustworthy digital identity solutions as a proud subsidiary of the Government Technology Agency (GovTech). Our mission is to emerge as the foremost Source of Trust in the digital ecosystem, enhancing security and high assurance in the utilization of digital services.
Role Overview:
In the capacity of a Technical Product Manager (TPM), you will be responsible for one or more digital products within the Port, Shipping, or Corporate sectors. You will oversee product outcomes throughout the entirety of the product lifecycle, from defining problems and planning roadmaps to delivery, adoption, operations, and ongoing improvement.
This role emphasizes product ownership rather than project coordination. You will make strategic product and technical decisions while collaborating closely with business owners, users, engineers, architects, infrastructure teams, and vendors.
For senior-level hires, this role will encompass broader product areas, mentorship of fellow product managers, and the development of product practices across the Digital Enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Articulate product vision, outcomes, and roadmaps that align with business objectives and industry trends.
- Engage with internal users and external industry stakeholders to identify challenges and set priorities.
- Convert needs into precise functional and technical requirements as well as acceptance criteria.
- Prioritize the product backlog based on value, risks, and technical limitations.
- Facilitate iterative delivery and releases alongside engineering teams and vendors.
- Manage products post-launch, focusing on user adoption, stability, and continuous enhancement.
- Conduct issue analysis, drive root cause investigations, and prioritize improvements.
Technical & Architecture Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional technical product leadership, including the evaluation of solution options and trade-offs.
- When necessary, serve as the product’s solution architect, defining high-level architecture, integration strategies, data flows, and non-functional requirements.
- Collaborate closely with dedicated architects to ensure coherent technical decisions.
Role Clarity:
- Responsible for product outcomes, not merely delivery activities.
- This is not a traditional project management role.
- May undertake architectural responsibilities based on product complexity and team structure.
- Does not replace engineering teams but ensures that technical decisions align with product objectives.
- Includes accountability after the product goes live.
Requirements:
Technical Product Manager
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in product management, digital solution ownership, business analysis, or related fields.
- Strong technical background (architecture, APIs, etc.) with proficiency in agile methodologies.
