The company’s mission centers on improving the streaming experience for millions and expanding its reach to every television worldwide.

Technical Operations at Roku

The Technical Operations team is responsible for maintaining the stability and performance of the Roku platform. This global group works around the clock to support The Roku Channel (TRC), manage live and on-demand content workflows, oversee ad delivery, and ensure a seamless experience for users. Collaboration with Engineering, Content, Live Operations, and Advertising is central to the team’s approach, especially when responding to incidents, executing major launches, and developing automation tools for scalable operations.

What you will do

  • Lead a team of engineers dedicated to monitoring, triaging, and resolving platform issues at all hours.
  • Investigate production incidents and coordinate cross-functional launch war rooms as needed.
  • Oversee service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure readiness for high-profile launches and events.
  • Drive automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for Engineering, Content Operations, Live Operations, Advertising, and Rights Management teams.

Compensation and benefits

For Connecticut Only: The estimated annual salary for this position is $112,200 to $140,000.

Compensation is tailored to each candidate and considers skills, certifications, and location. Benefits include health insurance, equity awards, life and disability insurance, parental leave, wellness programs, and paid time off.
