We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to join our Instrument Software team, where you will play a pivotal role in our projects.
As an ideal candidate, you possess deep expertise in developing advanced instrument control software utilizing C, C++, Python, and/or Rust. You are adept at managing asyncio, threading, multiprocessing, and low-level interfacing with drivers, firmware, and hardware. Your understanding of Python's capabilities and limitations is profound, and you take pride in maintaining a clean, testable, and maintainable codebase.
You are the engineer that peers rely on; your technical expertise is matched by your enthusiasm for tackling challenges. You demonstrate a strong commitment to producing high-quality software. A self-starter and team player, you are eager to explore new territories, write code, and ensure the systems function seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop production software for 10x instruments.
- Create diagnostic tools for fleet monitoring, incorporating AI technologies.
- Lead the architecture and design of next-generation instruments.
- Oversee the long-term evolution of our instrument codebase.
- Recruit and mentor local team members in Singapore.
