About the job

Building a Better Future. At Dura Vermeer, we are committed to creating healthy living and working environments where sustainability, mobility, and social cohesion converge. To support our ambitious growth, we are seeking a skilled Technical Developer – also known as a Project Developer – to join our team in Amsterdam. We are looking for a versatile professional who can comprehensively manage both the development process and design trajectory. Are you eager to contribute to sustainable area developments such as Park Valley in Diemen, Rootz in Haarlem, or Victoriapark in Hoofddorp? If so, we would love to meet you!

Your Role

As a Technical Developer at Dura Vermeer Bouw en Vastgoed Amsterdam, you will oversee the entire process of real estate and area development: from initiative to handover to the execution team. You will bridge the worlds of development and design, acting as the central point of contact between municipalities, investors, designers, advisors, construction partners, and our internal team.

Your strength lies in combining creative thinking with technical insight. You excel at translating innovative concepts into feasible and executable plans, ensuring that quality, sustainability, costs, time, and safety are prioritized throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Development & Design:
You will coordinate and integrate the entire development and design process, from concept to handover. This includes urban studies, architect selections, feasibility analyses, and significant technical plan elaborations.

  • Team Coordination:
You will manage architects, structural engineers, installation consultants, and other stakeholders during tender and preliminary design phases. You will establish clear frameworks and foster optimal collaboration among all parties involved.

  • Financial & Commercial:
You will prepare land and real estate exploitations, conduct risk analyses, and negotiate the best deals with stakeholders. You will maintain budget control and safeguard commercial opportunities.

  • Stakeholder Management:
You will be the primary contact for municipalities, housing corporations, investors, and other external stakeholders, nurturing and expanding relationships naturally.

  • Collaboration with Execution:
From the initial phase, you will work closely with our project managers and execution teams to ensure that designs are feasible and profitable.

Make Your Impact

We are developing sustainable environments and are looking for passionate individuals to join us.
