Appian is hiring a Technical Consultant for the Intelligence Sector to join the Customer Success team in McLean, Virginia. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. The team delivers software solutions and supports clients as they modernize their operations, with a focus on AI-driven approaches.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build custom software solutions for clients using the Appian platform after the sale is complete.
- Lead projects from initial definition through deployment, handling requirements gathering, solution design, development, and rollout.
- Assess client business processes and technical needs, then create applications tailored to those requirements.
- Develop relational data models and build APIs to connect with other systems.
- Work closely with client technical teams and business users to support software development and help clients create their own process applications.
- Implement AI features such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and generative AI models to enhance client operations.
- Work within an agile environment, adjusting to shifting project needs and priorities.
Work location
This role is based at Appian’s headquarters in McLean, Virginia. In-person attendance is required five days per week to support collaboration and team effectiveness.
