Role Overview: Technical Architect
The Global Delivery Centre in India is seeking a Technical Architect to join the team in either Bengaluru or Chennai. This hybrid role requires working onsite three days per week. The Technical Architect will bridge complex business needs and technical solutions, working closely with solution architects and enterprise clients to design scalable systems and workflows.
This position calls for more than coding skills. It requires strategic thinking, strong problem-solving abilities, and experience architecting solutions that help organizations succeed with Zuora’s products. The role involves frequent collaboration with solution architects, senior executives from global enterprises, product engineers, and cross-functional teams across regions.
Successful candidates combine deep technical knowledge with a structured approach and strong communication and leadership skills. The Technical Architect plays a central part in ensuring business-critical solutions are delivered accurately and effectively.
What You Will Do
- Gain in-depth knowledge of Zuora’s subscription business model and product suite to become a trusted advisor for clients.
- Translate business requirements into detailed data and object models, process flows, and architectural diagrams that support scalability.
- Design and deliver custom solutions beyond standard features, driving measurable results for customers.
- Work with teams across different regions to broaden your impact across industries and locations.
- Guide customers on Zuora products, APIs, integration strategies, and industry best practices.
- Produce clear, consistent technical documentation, checklists, and runbooks that meet customer needs and gain their approval.
- Uphold architectural best practices to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently and effectively.
Location and Work Model
This position is based in Bengaluru or Chennai, India, with a hybrid schedule (three days per week in office).
