Internship Overview:

The Technical Account Management (TAM) Team at Okta plays a pivotal role in guiding our customers through their journey toward implementing secure identity solutions. By acting as trusted advisors, we facilitate lasting success through enhanced technical proficiency.

As a TAM intern, you will engage in various stages of the customer journey, focusing on the implementation and adoption of Okta’s Identity products. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in how Technical Account Managers partner with clients to help them achieve their identity objectives using Okta and Auth0 solutions. You will be prepared to contribute meaningfully in a customer-facing role.

Internship Highlights:

Business Acumen:

  • Experience the customer journey from prospect to loyal advocate.
  • Learn key Customer Success concepts, including recurring revenue, license activation/adoption, and subscription management.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Gain insights into Identity and Access Management, Cybersecurity, Zero Trust, and Least Privilege principles.
  • Opportunity to explore Okta’s technology portfolio and earn certifications for our suite of products.

Functional Skills:

  • Develop strong business communication skills, both written and verbal, while effectively conveying technical concepts in a clear manner.
  • Hone presentation skills to engage with external customers and executives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams at Okta to drive implementation, adoption, and best practices.
