What does the role entail?
Your primary responsibility will be to lead multiple R&D teams focused on creating a suite of enterprise-grade, cloud-scale products.
We are seeking a seasoned R&D leader who is dedicated to developing and managing cloud-native, highly distributed products used by millions in a SaaS environment. A comprehensive understanding of agile development methodologies and the ability to lead a high-performing R&D team is essential.
How will you contribute?
Guide a skilled team of engineers, including Development and QA. Oversee all personnel-related aspects, including hiring, performance reviews, mentoring, and promotions.
Take ownership of the development and delivery of the components your team is responsible for.
Collaborate with the Product Owner and Software Architect to effectively plan development activities.
Serve as the Scrum Master for the development team.
Work closely with the scrum team to promote best practices and continuous improvement.
Engage hands-on with team members in development tasks, conduct code reviews, and maintain high engineering standards, including Test Automation and Unit Testing.
Participate in leadership discussions regarding release planning and product strategy.
Act as the engineering contact for product defect management and support inquiries.
Do you have the qualifications?
B. E./B. Tech or M. E./M. Tech in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent.
A minimum of 3 years of experience managing a software engineering team focused on enterprise products.
At least 13 years of overall experience in software engineering.
A proven track record of delivering software projects on time and within budget.
Technical expertise in software development.
Strong leadership abilities with experience in coaching and motivating team members.
Excellent communication skills; fluency in English is required.
Proven ability to influence others in complex situations.
A proactive approach with a demonstrated ability to tackle projects with enthusiasm.
Comfortable navigating a complex matrix environment.
