Job Overview
As a crucial member of our Global Procurement Compliance team, you will spearhead our Conflict Minerals compliance program. This position involves collaborating with internal teams and global partners to ensure adherence to compliance standards while meeting customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conflict Minerals Management:
- Lead and oversee the company's Conflict Minerals compliance initiatives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for global customers and suppliers regarding compliance matters.
- Collaborate with functional teams to advance compliance efforts.
- Stay updated on EICC CFSI policies, laws, and compliance trends.
- Deliver timely updates on Conflict Minerals to internal teams and clients.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by seeking innovative solutions.
- Ensure timely delivery of CMRT commitments to enhance customer focus.
- Support sourcing operations with supplier onboarding and performance monitoring.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage a global team of four across Bengaluru and Shanghai, ensuring efficient task management.
- Promote a team-oriented work culture aligned with MBM principles.
- Oversee team member selection, development, and retention.
- Mentor and coach team members to meet performance expectations.
- Create an inclusive work environment that encourages diversity and innovation.
- Recognize and reward team achievements and talent.
- Set high standards for quality and performance.
- Be willing to engage in hands-on tasks as necessary.
- Process Optimization:
- Implement LEAN principles to enhance the Conflict Minerals program.
- Effectively manage multiple projects and tasks.
- Utilize systems like PSN, EHSM, and SAP BW for reporting purposes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in procurement compliance, particularly in Conflict Minerals.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant compliance frameworks and regulations.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
