Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of tax experience, ideally in a multi-jurisdictional context, within a professional services firm or comparable in-house tax role. Possess a relevant recognized qualification (ACA, CTA), with ATT/AAT qualifications also considered. A collaborative team player with a strong work ethic. Self-motivated with the capability to work independently. Excellent analytical skills coupled with sound judgment. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Adaptable to change and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented, demonstrating thoroughness and accountability in work.

Squarepoint Capital is excited to announce a newly established opportunity for a Tax Analyst to join our dynamic tax team. This role is essential for supporting various aspects of the Group’s international tax obligations related to our management companies. The successful candidate will be based in our London office and will report to the Tax Manager in the UK.

  • Support the preparation of financial data and disclosures for audited financial statements and management reporting.
  • Collaborate on the review of direct tax returns prepared by service providers for the management companies across our global Group, including liaising with internal teams and gathering necessary information.
  • Maintain a compliance calendar to ensure timely tax filings and manage tax payments across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Assist with transfer pricing matters by collating information to ensure comprehensive global documentation and liaising with service providers.
  • Support employment tax matters, including reporting for short-term business visitors.
  • Assist with reporting obligations under Country-by-Country Reporting (CBCR) and Pillar Two.
  • Ensure the maintenance of an effective tax documentation management system.
  • Help manage the tax compliance budget, accruals, and engagements.
  • Interact with various internal departments, including Finance, Legal, and HR.
