The Tactical Recon & Strike (TRS) division leads efforts in autonomous drone development and large-scale manufacturing of solid rocket motors. Projects such as Ghost, Anvil, Bolt, and Altius progress from concept to field deployment through close collaboration among engineering, operations, and production teams. The Anduril Rocket Motor Systems (RMS) group designs and produces solid rocket motors with advanced materials and proprietary formulations, focusing on reliable propulsion for diverse missions. The division brings together software and hardware engineers to deliver both aerial autonomy and high-performance rocket systems.

Role overview

The Systems Engineer will work within the Tactical Recon & Strike division, focusing on products including Altius, Anvil, Bolt, and Ghost. This position requires strong experience in electrical engineering, systems engineering, and safety-critical development. The Systems Engineer provides technical leadership, ensures robust product design, and guides cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with Anduril’s mission.

Key responsibilities

  • Apply systems thinking, processes, and capabilities to core products: Altius, Anvil, Bolt, and Ghost.
  • Collaborate with product leads to define, staff, and deliver capabilities supporting company milestones.
  • Work directly with Business Lines to understand product requirements and deliverables.
