Our Electron rocket is recognized as the second most frequently launched rocket in the U. S., having successfully delivered over 230 satellites to orbit. We are also in the process of developing Neutron, our upcoming medium-lift, reusable launch vehicle designed for deploying larger satellite constellations. Our Space Systems division is responsible for designing and building a diverse range of satellites, payloads, and their components, including spacecraft selected for NASA missions to the Moon and Mars as well as components utilized in the James Webb Space Telescope.
SPACE SYSTEMS
At Rocket Lab, we are not merely launching rockets; we are shaping the future of space. Our Space Systems team is responsible for developing everything from complete spacecraft and precision payloads to the critical components and subsystems that enable their success in space, including solar panels, flight software, star trackers, optical systems, separation systems, radios, and beyond.
Having facilitated over 1,700 missions, our Space Systems team is engaged in a variety of initiatives ranging from interplanetary exploration and in-space manufacturing to national security and defense projects. We collaborate with esteemed partners such as NASA, the Space Development Agency, and the U. S. Space Force to build spacecraft, payloads, and components for missions to the Moon and Mars. Whether it’s a single high-performance spacecraft or a constellation, our world-class Space Systems team is empowering some of the most ambitious space missions in history.
SYSTEMS ENGINEER I/II PIPELINE
We are on the lookout for a Systems Engineer I/II for an upcoming opportunity within our systems engineering team based in Long Beach, CA. This team supports our Space Systems division and leads pioneering programs for civil, commercial, and defense customers.
