Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesOversee in-service support for specific platforms or systems. Act as the primary coordination point for all engineering, logistics, and sustainment matters related to that system. Support airworthiness, configuration management, and issue resolution for existing fleet systems. Coordinate engineering change proposals (ECPs), technical directives, and updates. Utilize programmatic or technical expertise to identify, formulate, design, and test practical engineering solutions; guide the development of complex systems; and apply systems engineering methods in system development. Provide support for Air Vehicle engineering on H-53 helicopter systems and subsystems. Required Skills/ExperienceActive Security Clearance: Secret. Bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific field from an accredited institution. Minimum of three (3) years of recent and relevant experience. Proven experience in a specific engineering domain is essential.

This pivotal role entails providing essential systems engineering support for the Heavy Lift Helicopters Program Office (PMA-261), concentrating on the advancement and maintenance of H-53 air vehicle systems, subsystems, and components.

The Systems Engineer will engage in the entire lifecycle of weapon systems across various platforms. Key responsibilities include conducting thorough technical research and development of cutting-edge technologies, performing system analysis, and producing extensive documentation. The engineer will also assist in the acquisition process for aircraft, weapons, and integrated systems—assessing their technical performance, mission effectiveness, and related acquisition risks from initial concept through to deployment and sustainment.
