Position Overview

We are excited to invite a talented Systems Engineer to our dynamic team in Redmond, WA. Our work involves the design and optimization of the infrastructure that powers our generalized robotics foundation models, covering everything from edge devices to cloud GPU clusters, with an emphasis on low latency, high throughput, and optimal resource utilization across diverse formats such as aerial, ground, and manipulation systems.

Ideal candidates will possess a strong foundation in systems engineering and AI/ML infrastructure, with hands-on experience in systems programming, distributed systems architecture, GPU-accelerated computing, containerized deployments, and optimization of ML training and inference. Systems Engineer Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize systems infrastructure for robotics workloads, encompassing edge devices and cloud GPU clusters.

  • Develop and sustain low-latency, high-throughput pipelines for ML model training and inference.

  • Architect and manage distributed systems to maximize resource efficiency across varied computing environments.

  • Enhance GPU/CUDA workloads and accelerate ML frameworks (PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow) tailored for robotics applications.

  • Construct and maintain containerized deployment pipelines utilizing Kubernetes and Docker.

  • Collaborate with research teams to convert model requirements into scalable, production-ready systems.

  • Devise monitoring, profiling, and benchmarking tools to diagnose and rectify performance bottlenecks.

  • Contribute to infrastructure tooling and initiatives for open-sourcing.
