The Waymo Safety team is committed to continuously enhancing the safety of our autonomous driving systems. Our experts formulate safety objectives and strategies, conducting thorough safety engineering analyses to ensure that safety considerations are integrated into every phase of vehicle design and development. The team collaborates with regulatory bodies, lawmakers, law enforcement, and non-profit organizations to develop and advocate for safety policies specific to autonomous vehicles. We also play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations.
