Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Unix/Linux Engineer or Administrator. Strong administration knowledge of Unix operating systems (RHEL, HPUX) is essential. Proficiency in server operations, RAID, firmware management, and virtualization technologies is required. Familiarity with network protocols and directory services is a must. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team are necessary. Experience with scripting languages and automation tools are highly desirable.

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated System Engineer, specializing in Unix/Linux environments. You will be responsible for the administration and engineering of Unix/Linux systems, including but not limited to RHEL versions 5 through 8, and HPUX. Your expertise will also extend to server hardware platforms such as HP ProLiant Blades and Dell Servers, ensuring optimal server operations and maintenance.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge in RAID configurations, ILO firmware, and server technologies. You will have the ability to design infrastructure solutions and demonstrate proficiency in Linux system architecture. Our team values experience in OS patching, upgrades, and package management for installing third-party software on RHEL and other OS servers.

Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, and KVM is essential. You will monitor server performance using tools like vmstat, prstat, and top. A solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, NFS, SSH, SCP, FTP, SUDO) and directory services (IDM, LDAP, AD, DNS, DHCP, NIS, NTP) is required to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.

We encourage a collaborative approach, where you will work alongside the Command Center team to meet deadlines and ensure client satisfaction. Strong documentation skills are necessary for preparing SOPs and project delivery solutions. You should also be adept in scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, or Python for automating tasks and data collection.

Experience with Ansible automation, Docker management, and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure will be advantageous. If you are passionate about technology and eager to learn, we want to hear from you!
