Join our dynamic team as a System Engineer specializing in RedHat Linux, where you will play a key role in the administration and management of our IT infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure the seamless operation of various operating systems, hardware, and software platforms, enhancing system reliability and ensuring compliance with ITIL V4 standards.

  • System Administration: Oversee and maintain systems across diverse platforms including Windows Server, Linux (RedHat, Suse, Ubuntu), Solaris, IBM AIX, and Oracle Linux.
  • Software & Hardware Management: Manage components such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Azure AD, clustering tools, file servers, SAN/NAS storage, and virtualization platforms.
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Proactively analyze performance issues across development, staging, production, and disaster recovery environments.
  • Transition Management: Facilitate the transfer of responsibilities from existing vendors or internal teams.
  • Compliance & Security: Uphold legal and internal compliance standards through regular patching and security updates.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), system configurations, and performance, security, and incident reports.
  • Automation: Introduce tools to automate processes like provisioning, monitoring, and issue resolution to enhance efficiency.
  • User Support: Deliver clear communication and support to users while managing privileged access.
  • Backup: Collaborate with backup teams to ensure effective backup processes, scripts, and restore procedures are in place and tested.
  • Access Control: Administer access rights in compliance with access policies.
  • System Availability: Utilize enterprise monitoring tools to ensure system uptime and hardware maintenance.
  • Disaster Recovery: Engage in the planning, testing, and execution of disaster recovery strategies.
  • Configuration Management: Maintain up-to-date hardware/software configurations.
  • Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize system performance and configurations.
  • Problem & Change Management: Lead issue resolution, perform impact analysis, and manage change requests for smooth implementation.
  • Audit Compliance: Support audits by providing necessary data and addressing findings.
  • Capacity Planning: Assess usage and forecast future system needs.
  • Security Oversight: Establish and enforce security policies, conduct audits, and assist with investigations.
