RequirementsWhat You Bring to Our Team:Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. Hands-on experience with low-level protocols such as UART, Ethernet, and I2C. Strong ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established codebases. Fluency in written and spoken English. Proficiency in programming with a proven ability to learn new languages and technologies. Preferred Qualifications:Experience in developing GNC designs for flight systems. Proficiency in C/C++ or Rust programming languages. Familiarity with Matlab and Simulink.

About the Position

As a System Engineer Navigation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of unmanned aerial vehicle navigation systems. Your work will span both hardware and software domains, focusing on the integration of cutting-edge sensors, the development of advanced navigation algorithms, and enhancing flight control performance. If you have a passion for UAV technology and enjoy collaborating across functions to innovate navigation and guidance systems, we want to hear from you!

Your Daily Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate communication between customer support and R&D, prioritizing feature requests and managing bug reports.

  • Gather, analyze, and assess preliminary data to inform hardware updates.

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to system documentation.

  • Analyze and integrate new sensors, focusing on flight control-related components like IMU, GNSS, magnetometers, and pressure sensors.

  • Develop integration and validation concepts.

  • Design, implement, and test algorithms for navigation and control systems that meet project specifications.

  • Conduct simulations and analyses to validate GNC models and assess system performance under various conditions.

  • Enhance system performance through innovative sensor calibration techniques.
