We are on a mission to make Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) a reality. Our team is driven, passionate, and dedicated to delivering infrastructure of the highest caliber. About the Role
We are seeking a Supply Chain Generalist to ensure the efficient operation of Fluidstack's data center and infrastructure supply chain. This pivotal role will involve overseeing the daily execution of equipment procurement, including vendor interactions, lead time management, and logistics coordination.
The ideal candidate exhibits operational diligence paired with a technical mindset. You possess knowledge of transformers, sourcing chillers, the significance of lead times on InfiniBand switches, and the ability to create tools ensuring timely equipment delivery. Your enthusiasm for automation means you view manual data-gathering tasks as opportunities for improvement, not just chores.
You Will
- Manage end-to-end tracking of hardware purchase orders for data center MEP and infrastructure compute, storage, and networking, from purchase order issuance to delivery confirmation and inventory receipt.
- Act as the primary liaison with hardware vendors and logistics partners, managing communication around lead times, shipment statuses, and issue resolution.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and tracking tools to provide infrastructure and finance teams with real-time insights into orders, transit statuses, and potential risks.
- Automate repetitive data-gathering workflows: vendor capacity assessments, lead time updates, and shipment ETA consolidation to minimize manual effort and enhance data accuracy.
- Coordinate inbound logistics with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and data center teams to ensure timely delivery and accurate documentation, integrating with our Warehouse Management Systems and Transportation Management Systems.
- Proactively identify procurement risks such as supply constraints, allocation shortfalls, and shipping delays, escalating issues with context and recommended solutions.
