Role overview

The Summer Program Aide supports both Harlem Children’s Zone and Promise Academy after-school summer programs. This position helps deliver hands-on activities and assists with daily programming designed to encourage academic, social, and emotional growth. The focus is on creating a positive summer experience for every child.

What you will do

  • Help plan and lead activities that foster learning and personal development
  • Promote a safe, welcoming environment for all participants
  • Engage children in games, projects, and group activities
  • Work alongside staff to support smooth daily operations
