Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).6–10 years of relevant structural engineering experience, focusing on project coordination and technical leadership. Experience in Colorado is preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Structural Engineer (SE) license preferred. Proficient in Revit and experienced with ETABS, RAM, RISA 3D, SAP2000, SAFE, or similar analysis software. Excellent communication and leadership abilities, capable of guiding junior staff and coordinating effectively with clients and design teams. Adept at managing multiple priorities while meeting high technical standards and delivering quality results within deadlines. Dedicated to innovation, teamwork, and developing practical structural solutions that benefit clients and communities.

KPFF Consulting Engineers is looking for a Structural Project Manager to spearhead structural design initiatives that align with your expertise. In this pivotal role, you will mentor junior engineers, drive innovative solutions across diverse projects, and manage intricate projects from inception through construction, ensuring a seamless collaboration with clients and design partners. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients at KPFF.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Projects: Oversee design processes from concept to execution, ensuring a balance of technical precision, coordination, budget management, and client engagement.
  • Design & Innovate: Leverage advanced structural engineering principles to create innovative, efficient, and practical solutions. Direct the development of detailed drawings and specifications.
  • Mentor & Guide: Provide guidance and support to engineers through hands-on training and collaborative project work.
  • Collaborate Across Disciplines: Partner with architects, owners, and contractors to guarantee technical accuracy and successful project outcomes.
  • Contribute to Colorado’s Growth: Play a key role in shaping projects that enhance our local communities.
