Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred). Minimum of three years of relevant structural engineering experience, showcasing strong technical and organizational skills. PE license preferred, or a clear commitment to pursuing licensure with support from KPFF’s professional development programs. Proficiency in Revit and familiarity with ETABS, RAM, RISA 3D, SAP2000, SAFE, or other structural analysis and design software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly. Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. A proactive, curious, and adaptable mindset, with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.

Your Role

Are you prepared to elevate your engineering career and make a difference? We are looking for a motivated Structural Project Engineer or Project Manager in Training who is eager to learn and collaborate. In this position, you will take on increased responsibilities, enhance your technical and leadership capabilities, and contribute to the development of innovative structural solutions.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead & Contribute: Assume ownership of design tasks, analysis, and documentation while engaging in or managing engineering projects suitable for your experience level.
  • Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work in close partnership with architects, owners, and contractors to achieve successful project outcomes.
  • Deliver Quality Solutions: Utilize engineering knowledge and innovative problem-solving to produce practical and forward-thinking designs.
  • Mentorship & Growth: Gain insights from senior engineers and foster a culture of knowledge-sharing and collaboration. Mentor and support entry-level engineers in their career development.
  • Contribute to Idaho’s Growth: Engage in projects that shape the community, ranging from commercial developments to public facilities.
