REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION3-6+ years of professional experience post-graduation. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Proficient in structural analysis and design with a solid understanding of various project types across multiple industries. Experience in preparing, reviewing, and approving project drawings, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting, showcasing strong attention to detail along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and Staad Pro. DESIRED ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCEPE/SE registration is highly preferred or a commitment to obtain registration.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a talented Structural Engineer to bolster our dynamic civil and environmental engineering team. This role is ideal for individuals eager to contribute to impactful projects in a collaborative environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct thorough reviews of structural documents to identify conflicts across all disciplines.
  • Draft and refine structural specifications to ensure clarity and compliance.
  • Select appropriate procedures and materials, determining their specifications and sizes.
  • Independently coordinate the activities of the structural design team throughout the design development and contract documentation phases.
  • Organize and attend meetings with various agencies to ensure adherence to code compliance.
  • Facilitate design development and contract document sessions at project sites in collaboration with the Project Manager and other disciplines.
  • Manage workload effectively during design development and construction document phases to ensure timely completion.
  • Assist other disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRs, and change orders, ensuring all agreed-upon modifications are integrated into project documents.
