Role Overview
We are excited to offer a career opportunity for a Structural-Bridge Engineer eager to advance as a Technical Manager. In this pivotal role, you will lead project teams and engage in the planning and design of transportation infrastructure projects. You will be recognized as a subject matter expert, providing vital technical guidance to our staff to ensure project success and support the growth of our North Carolina Structural group.
The ideal candidate will have a strong history of managing structural-bridge projects successfully, ensuring the production of high-quality engineering documents. Experience in mentoring and guiding staff in technical competencies is highly sought after.
Work Location
This position offers a hybrid work schedule, requiring in-office presence at our Cary office a minimum of three days each week.
Your Impact
- Mentor staff and enhance their technical skills while executing projects.
- Oversee technical aspects of projects, determining necessary analyses and the most effective methods for execution (software, design assumptions, etc.).
- Conduct, review, and manage technical analysis and design, ensuring comprehensive design details.
- Regularly communicate technical progress and challenges to the Project Manager.
- Follow all internal protocols for quality assurance, documentation, and project tracking.
- Participate in additional project-related tasks as needed.
