About the Role
We are seeking a Strategic Projects Lead who will be responsible for scaling our data operations that underpin advanced AI training initiatives. This position demands high ownership and decision-making capabilities, even amidst uncertainty, along with the ability to create resilient processes.
As the SPL, you will oversee projects from inception to completion, managing a distributed team, predicting timelines, achieving throughput targets, and ensuring the quality of deliverables. You will tackle complex problems and devise scalable solutions that impact the entire organization. Your contributions will significantly influence the deployment and functionality of frontier models.
What You’ll Do
Own end-to-end delivery: You are responsible for the entire data delivery process, ensuring deadlines, throughput, and quality are met.
Solve ambiguous challenges: When faced with inefficiencies, you will develop scalable solutions that benefit the organization as a whole.
Build and lead contributor teams: Recruit, train, and manage a distributed workforce, transforming new hires into high performers.
Collaborate cross-functionally: Work alongside engineers to define technical requirements, identify blockers, and implement improvements to our pipeline infrastructure.
Drive continuous improvement: Pinpoint bottlenecks and inefficiencies and devise effective solutions.
SPLs are passionate about both quality and efficiency. You will apply analytical reasoning, quantitative analysis, sound judgment, and innovative problem-solving skills to navigate data through complex systems, often with incomplete information.
