Job Description:
The Strategic Project Manager position is pivotal in orchestrating business planning for the US Medical Affairs teams. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders across the US Medical Affairs (US-MA) and Commercial divisions. To excel in this position, candidates must possess a comprehensive understanding of AZ business processes coupled with robust project management expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
· Collaborate closely with the Therapeutic Area Leadership Team (TA-LT) and Core Medical Teams (CMT) to formulate US-MA Medical and Operational Plans.
· Propel the successful implementation of Medical and Operational Plans.
· Facilitate prompt and effective decision-making processes.
· Proactively identify and mitigate business risks/issues.
· Craft compelling project communication strategies.
· Design and deliver effective frameworks, presentations, and communications, both written and verbal.
· Establish and track key performance indicators to evaluate project success.
· Oversee budget planning processes within the therapeutic area.
· Conduct TA-LT and CMT meetings, providing strategic insights for meeting agendas and managing action items effectively.
· Act as a liaison between US-MA CMT and their Commercial counterparts, including Brand Planning Leaders and Business Alignment Managers.
· Lead and manage high-impact strategic US-MA projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
· Provide guidance and leadership to cross-functional project teams, both internal and external.
· Develop process designs to enhance efficiency and simplify business operations.
· Promote the sharing of best practices and ensure consistent use of standardized methods, processes, tools, and templates.
