As the Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating and expanding strategic alliances that reinforce Profound's status as the leading platform for AI search optimization. Your mission will involve identifying, negotiating, and activating partnerships throughout the AI ecosystem and with complementary B2B tools, thus enhancing our product offerings and broadening our market reach.

This position straddles the realms of product and business development. You will oversee the entire partnership lifecycle while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure seamless integrations and joint go-to-market strategies that deliver tangible value to both Profound and our partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prioritize, and implement strategic partnerships with AI platforms and marketing technology or B2B software companies.

  • Establish channel and ecosystem partnerships, including international resellers and co-selling arrangements.

  • Forge data partnerships with platforms offering valuable proprietary datasets, ensuring alignment with Profound's product strategy and growth objectives.

  • Conduct outreach, evaluation, negotiation, and finalization of partnership agreements.

  • Design mutually beneficial agreements that balance commercial terms, technical integration needs, and strategic value creation.

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Marketing, and Sales to drive partnerships and integrations from inception to launch.

  • Bridge technical gaps, resolve data discrepancies, and ensure successful execution of partnership commitments.

  • Act as the primary contact for strategic partners, conduct regular QBRs, monitor partnership performance metrics, and proactively identify expansion opportunities.

  • Work with stakeholders on joint marketing initiatives, co-selling strategies, and customer enablement programs.

  • Collaborate internally on partnership announcements, case studies, and thought leadership content.

  • Maintain a comprehensive landscape map of the AI ecosystem and stay informed on platform changes, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics.
