Our client is a dynamic Series C B2B SaaS enterprise based in London, specializing in supply chain visibility and logistics optimization software tailored for mid-market and enterprise clients throughout Europe. With £60 million raised and impressive annual recurring revenue growth, this company is gearing up for its next fundraising round while exploring mergers and acquisitions to expedite product and market expansion. They are establishing a Strategic Finance function to work alongside Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to assist the CFO and CEO in navigating complex financial and strategic decisions.
The Role
As the Strategic Finance Manager, you will serve as a vital analytical partner to the CFO and CEO, spearheading financial strategy, facilitating fundraising initiatives, and providing commercial insights across the organization. This role uniquely positions you at the crossroads of finance and strategy, offering direct engagement with investor relations, M&A assessments, and long-term business planning.
What You'll Do
Oversee the financial modeling for fundraising activities, including the creation of investor materials, data room management, and due diligence assistance.
Develop and sustain the long-term financial model, aiding in scenario planning and strategic options assessment.
Conduct financial evaluations of M&A and partnership opportunities in collaboration with the commercial team.
Craft executive and board-level financial narratives that link trading performance to strategic objectives.
Assist the CFO with various strategic projects, including pricing strategies, unit economics, and capital allocation decisions.
What We're Looking For
5 to 8 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a strategic finance role within a high-growth technology environment.
Outstanding financial modeling expertise, including comprehension of SaaS metrics, three-statement modeling, and scenario analysis.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous scale-up environment.
Exceptional executive communication skills, with the confidence to present to investors and board members.
Experience in supporting a venture or growth equity fund would be advantageous.
