AECOM is seeking a dedicated Statewide Trainer to join our team in Georgia.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering comprehensive training to Districts 1-6 on the Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS) software, customer service protocols, traffic incident management, radio dispatch, and District Operations. Your expertise will also contribute to the development and upkeep of statewide operations training materials, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Standard Operating Guides (SOGs), and training manuals. You will conduct recertification testing and provide mentorship to both new and established staff members.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the Statewide Operations Training Manager (SOTM) and Statewide Dispatch Operations Manager (SDOM) to create and update classroom and online training packages for operators and supervisors.
- Delivering on-site and virtual training sessions for new hires and current employees.
- Partnering with the Department’s software provider to enhance ATMS training resources.
- Assisting in the creation of a customer service training module focused on traffic incident management dispatch activities.
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of Traffic Incident Management materials, including SOPs, SOGs, training manuals, reference libraries, and multimedia aids.
- Engaging in continuous improvement efforts by attending TIM meetings and participating in bi-weekly statewide training team meetings.
- Identifying training and performance trends, and collaborating with management to drive initiatives for corrective action plans.
- Offering personalized mentoring and coaching for newly hired operations personnel.
- Reviewing training materials and courses bi-monthly to ensure they reflect current technology and procedures.
- Facilitating statewide certification testing and training on the use of the 511ga systems, including phone, website, and mobile applications.
