We are currently seeking a Staff Software Engineer for our Autonomy Data: Continuous Learning team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep interest in our models and datasets, utilizing cutting-edge foundation models alongside Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF) techniques to enhance model performance through high-quality data and construct the datasets that drive the Aurora Driver.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance dataset quality by implementing semi-automated evaluation mechanisms utilizing advanced models and RLHF techniques.
  • Broaden our foundational model strategy for identifying intriguing events across millions of miles.
  • Oversee model training and inference pipelines for all core autonomy models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, program, operations, data science) to drive projects from conception to completion.
