Hinge Health is broadening its horizons beyond traditional physical therapy to create a holistic Brain Health ecosystem. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the architecture and development of agentic AI systems designed to provide personalized pain reprocessing therapy and mindfulness practices. You will act as a bridge between clinical science and software engineering, crafting the technology that empowers millions of members to retrain their nervous systems in processing pain.

Your Impact

  • Architect Innovative AI Therapies: Develop and enhance agentic AI systems that facilitate multi-session conversational therapy while ensuring contextual continuity, emotional intelligence, and adherence to clinical standards.

  • Create an Integrated Education Platform: Construct a centralized service that offers tailored pain science education and mindset strategies, customizing content to align with each member’s therapeutic objectives.

  • Shape Technical Strategy: Collaborate with product and clinical leadership to define the long-term technical vision for Brain Health, strategically balancing immediate deliverables with the need for scalable, resilient infrastructure.

  • Establish MLOps Standards: Develop best practices for model evaluation, effectiveness tracking, and safety measures, tailored to the unique requirements of mental health AI.

  • Lead & Mentor: Serve as a technical guide for the team, mentoring fellow engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, and promoting collaboration among data science, clinical, and platform teams.
