Staff Software Engineer, Backend
As a Staff Software Engineer specializing in backend development, you will design and manage services that drive our core product experiences. This role involves hands-on technical work in creating reliable APIs and event-driven systems, while also focusing on code review, performance enhancement, and scalability improvements. You will collaborate closely with Product, Data, Infrastructure/SRE, and Security teams to develop secure and production-ready solutions. Additionally, you will contribute to the enhancement of backend engineering practices through design reviews, mentoring, and providing insightful technical guidance. You will report to an engineering manager and work alongside peers to ensure backend tasks align with our broader platform objectives.
