About Agoda
At Agoda, we connect the world through travel. Our journey began in 2005 when two lifelong friends and entrepreneurs, fueled by their love for exploration, founded Agoda with the mission to simplify travel for everyone.
Today, we are a proud member of Booking Holdings [NASDAQ: BKNG], boasting a diverse workforce of over 7,000 individuals from 90 countries, collaborating from offices worldwide. Each day, we enable people to discover destinations and experiences through our competitive offers across millions of hotels, holiday properties, flights, and activities globally.
At Agoda, no two days are the same. Data and technology are integral to our culture, driving our innovation and curiosity. If you are eager to embark on your best journey and contribute to building travel for all, we invite you to join us.
Get to Know Our Team:
Within Agoda’s Back End Engineering department, we engineer scalable, fault-tolerant systems and APIs that underpin our core business logic. Our systems encompass all critical business areas: inventory and pricing, product data, customer information, communications, partner data, booking processes, payments, and more. These essential systems undergo frequent changes, with numerous releases daily, necessitating the use of cutting-edge CI/CD and testing methodologies to ensure uninterrupted functionality. We also prioritize self-healing systems that can gracefully handle extreme loads or unexpected inputs. To achieve this, we utilize advanced programming languages like Scala and Go, and data technologies such as Kafka and Aerospike, alongside agile development practices. Most importantly, we hire exceptional talent from around the globe and empower them to thrive. Whether you’re developing new initiatives like Flights and Packages or rethinking our existing operations, your contributions will significantly impact the Back End Engineering team.
The Opportunity:
Agoda is seeking talented developers to work on vital systems that focus on designing and developing APIs that handle millions of user search requests daily.
