Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working cross-functionally. Familiarity with QMS tools and platforms, particularly Auros. Ability to lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Role overview

This Staff Quality Systems Engineer position is based in Southfield, MI. The role leads the maintenance and ongoing improvement of Lucid Motors’ Quality Management System (QMS). The engineer ensures that all processes, workflows, and system configurations meet requirements for Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Lucid Quality Planning (LQP), supplier quality, audits, and risk management.

What you will do

  • Own and maintain the Quality Management System, leading continuous improvement efforts.
  • Make sure QMS processes and configurations support APQP, LQP, supplier quality activities, audits, and risk management.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for QMS tools and platforms, such as Auros or similar systems.
  • Work with Supplier Quality, Engineering, Operations, IT, and external suppliers to integrate and maintain quality system compliance.

Collaboration

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality processes align with business and regulatory needs.
  • Engage with external suppliers to support quality initiatives and system adoption.
