What You’ll Do:

We are on the lookout for a seasoned Powertrain Program Manager to spearhead the development of Electrical Systems & Propulsion within Archer’s Program Management Office. This pivotal role entails overseeing the product lifecycle from conception to FAA certification, ensuring rigorous testing and validation to qualify systems for mass production. A robust background in aerospace integration and a proven history of managing intricate, supplier-partnered technical programs are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement a cross-functional program execution plan for the entire new product development lifecycle, from design architecture through to production launch.
  • Take charge and refine existing high-level schedules for Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) within Archer’s Electrical Systems & Propulsion product lines.
  • Act as the principal cross-functional liaison, coordinating efforts across Design, Testing, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Facilities to ensure a seamless and timely prototype development process.
  • Oversee the Design Validation (DV) & Product Validation (PV) Testing roadmap (V/MBSE Testing Method) for Electric Propulsion Systems, driving a comprehensive test and qualification plan to ensure timely execution.
  • Manage end-to-end readiness and launch of Testing Equipment. Collaborate with the Supply Chain, Engineering, Real Estate, and Finance teams during the (RfX) Process to ensure timely deployment and qualification of equipment.
  • Establish and manage a risk tracking and mitigation plan for the testing program, driving timely resolution of risks.
  • Administer the testing program budget (CapEx/OpEx) and develop metrics and KPIs to track progress.
  • Consolidate and effectively communicate the status, risks, and progress of the testing program to the leadership team.
