Position Overview
As our Staff Product Designer, you will not merely be designing software; you will be reshaping the future of healthcare delivery. Your designs will help clinicians reclaim their time, minimize cognitive burden, and allow them to focus entirely on their patients.
Healthcare has systemic issues that are often overlooked. Clinicians dedicate a significant portion of their time to administrative tasks, leading to high burnout rates and compromised patient care. The existing clinical documentation processes force doctors to choose between engaging with their patients or their computers.
This role is ideal for an innovative thinker who envisions a better future for healthcare experiences. You will tackle unprecedented challenges in an industry where design choices significantly affect human lives and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
In your role as Staff Product Designer, you will define the product experience at Abridge, setting a high standard for aesthetic appeal, clarity, and strategic insight across projects that directly influence clinicians, patients, and care teams.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, delve into the intricacies of clinical workflows, and bring clarity and compassion to ambiguous challenges. Whether you are prototyping innovative concepts or enhancing existing features, you will champion design excellence throughout the entire product lifecycle.
