Qualifications
ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain network infrastructure to support IaaS platforms and services. Plan, deploy, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, firewalls, DNS, VLANs, IP addressing (both static and dynamic), and VPN solutions (site-to-site and remote access). Configure, maintain, and patch Layer 2 / Layer 3 switching and routing. Troubleshoot networking issues across the OSI stack using both physical and software-based diagnostic tools. Implement and maintain network security controls, including monitoring, hardening, threat modeling, and vulnerability mitigation. Support networking in on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments, including AWS and Azure. Configure and maintain network protocols and technologies such as BGP, Spanning Tree, LLDP, and link aggregation (MCLAG, LACP). Support storage networking, including SAN and Fibre Channel switched fabric topologies. Collaborate with systems, virtualization, storage, and platform engineers to deliver integrated infrastructure solutions. Support networking and firewall configurations for both Linux and Windows-based systems, including VMware environments. Participate in infrastructure planning, upgrades, and lifecycle management. Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, procedures, and change records. Support automation and repeatability efforts across network and infrastructure services. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
