Structures and Mechanisms Team

The Structures and Mechanisms team oversees the entire lifecycle of integrated structures and flight mechanisms for Terran R. Responsibilities span design, assembly, and testing. Engineers work directly with hardware, whether developing dynamic mechanisms or creating structural components that require precise tolerances. The team operates with shared tools and design principles, giving members a broad view of the rocket’s development. Contributions are not limited to a single subsystem, engineers are empowered to make decisions that directly affect flight hardware. As the first Terran R flight approaches, the team’s efforts are crucial for improving manufacturability and operational efficiency.
