Qualifications

REQUIRED:Master's degree in Embedded Systems, VLSI, or MicroElectronics, or Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communications, Electrical & Electronics, or Computer Science.7+ years of experience in semiconductor product system design or architecture. Proficient in C, C++/System C, Python, GIT, GitHub, and AGILE methodologies. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a global team across multiple regions. Multi-disciplinary experience, including knowledge of firmware, hardware, and ASIC design. PREFERRED:Familiarity with PCIe Gen5/6 technology is advantageous. Hands-on experience with NVMe specifications. Prior experience with storage systems, protocols, and NAND flash is a strong advantage. Previous experience with storage systems, protocols, and DDR DRAM is a significant plus. Basic understanding of SSD system-level concepts.

Job Summary:

As a pivotal member of our systems engineering team, you will engage in product development discussions, focusing on pioneering the next generation of solid-state drive (SSD) products. Your role encompasses crafting detailed product design specifications, establishing test objectives, and executing debugging processes. You will critically assess technical, cost, and scheduling trade-offs to identify optimal solutions. Collaboration with ASIC, hardware, firmware, and validation teams will be essential to overcome technical hurdles and devise advantageous strategies. You will steer the design workflow from initial concept through to validation, ensuring alignment with product goals and milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret customer specifications and drive necessary design modifications.
  • Produce comprehensive product design specification documents and test objectives.
  • Coordinate development and validation efforts across various teams.
  • Develop both internal and external specifications, staying abreast of technological trends and roadmaps.
  • Proactively pinpoint risks during the development phase and lead planning for mitigation.
  • Conduct system failure analyses on issues encountered in test environments, including hardware and software components.
  • Commit to continuous learning, exploring new technologies, and embracing problem-solving challenges.
  • Utilize critical thinking to analyze competitive data and provide insights for product development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including ASIC, firmware, and validation, to streamline product development.
  • Encourage innovation and contribute to the creation of products poised for significant market impact, working alongside talented engineers and tackling complex challenges.
