Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:Own the technical roadmap and architecture for engine and generator controller boards from concept to flight certification. Lead microcontroller selection, processing architecture, and memory management to achieve real-time performance and safety standards. Design low-voltage power distribution systems, precision analog signal conditioning circuits, and sensor interfaces for various environmental conditions. Architect and validate multi-protocol communication systems, including CAN, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, and UART for integration with aircraft subsystems. Develop fault detection, isolation, and recovery protocols in hardware to ensure fail-safe operations and compliance with functional safety requirements. Act as the technical authority for controller design, guiding design reviews, mentoring engineering teams, and ensuring adherence to reliability and manufacturability best practices. Engage with firmware, power electronics, mechanical, systems, and safety teams to ensure seamless integration of controllers into the propulsion system. Formulate and implement validation plans utilizing simulations and testing to meet performance, EMC, and certification benchmarks.
