Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in avionics systems design and manufacturing. Proficient in hardware-in-the-loop testing, electrical system integration, and troubleshooting. Strong understanding of aerospace standards and regulatory requirements. Excellent collaborative skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience with automation tools and software development for avionics applications is a plus.

About the Team: 

The Avionics team plays a critical role in managing the full lifecycle of the Terran R’s avionics systems, which includes designing, constructing, testing, installing, and operating the hardware that interconnects and governs every major electrical system on the vehicle and ground. Our team thrives on close collaboration between avionics design, manufacturing, and testing, facilitating rapid iterations and feedback. Engineers work hand-in-hand with propulsion, GNC (Guidance, Navigation, and Control), fluids, and stage engineering teams to guarantee seamless integration and functionality.
