Qualifications
Minimum QualificationsOver 4 years of experience in database design and administration. Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology or a related field.4+ years of expertise with SQL Server versions 2008 through 2016.Proficient in SQL Server technologies, including clustering, Always On, partitioning, security, performance tuning, and more. Minimum 2 years of experience with performance tuning tools; ability to analyze and resolve performance issues. Extensive experience in backup/recovery, application patching, cloning, and maintenance within SQL Server environments. Proven track record in leading SQL Server upgrades from version 2005 and above. Experience managing medium to large databases (500GB to 5TB). Ability to work under structured change management protocols. Strong analytical skills to address data-related issues across the architecture. Excellent documentation skills. Experience with monitoring tools such as SCOM. Familiarity with replication technologies (transactional, merge, snapshot). Experience with Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) is a plus. Familiarity with operating in an enterprise environment with formal procedures for escalation and outage resolution.
