Role Overview
The Sport Program & Event Manager will design and run sports programs and events that encourage team participation and foster a sense of community. This role involves both planning and hands-on coordination, with a focus on employee engagement through sports and group activities.
What You Will Do
- Organize internal and external sports events, such as tournaments, competitions, and team entries in marathons.
- Create and promote sports programs to boost employee involvement.
- Motivate staff to take part in sports initiatives and help build an internal sports community.
- Work closely with colleagues to coordinate company events.
- Handle logistics, venue bookings, and contractor relationships.
- Oversee budgets and financial planning for sports programs and events.
- Prepare reports and evaluate the impact of activities.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience organizing sports or corporate events.
- Knowledge of developing corporate sports programs and strategies for employee engagement.
- Background working with vendors, including venues, trainers, and event organizers.
- Strong skills in planning, budgeting, and managing multiple projects at once.
- Comfortable working with timelines, specifications, and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to engage people at all levels.
- Fluent English required.
