Role overview
This position focuses on designing and delivering sports programs and events that bring employees together. Both planning and hands-on coordination are central to the job, with the goal of increasing participation and building a sense of community through sports and group activities.
What you will do
- Organize a range of sports events, including internal tournaments, competitions, and company participation in public events like marathons.
- Create and promote sports programs to encourage employee involvement.
- Motivate staff to join sports initiatives and help foster an internal sports community.
- Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate company-wide events.
- Manage logistics, book venues, and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors.
- Oversee budgets and handle financial planning for activities and events.
- Prepare reports and assess the impact of each program or event.
Requirements
- Experience organizing sports or corporate events.
- Understanding of how to develop corporate sports programs and strategies to engage employees.
- Background working with vendors, including venues, trainers, and event organizers.
- Strong planning, budgeting, and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Comfort working with timelines, specifications, and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage people at all levels.
- Fluency in English.
