Requirements:Passionate about supporting children with autismExhibits patience, compassion, and teamworkMust be 18 years or olderHigh school diploma or GEDAbility to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and a Tuberculosis test (if not completed in the last year)Must pass a pre-employment background checkPhysical ability to perform various movements (sit, squat, bend, etc.)Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 poundsBilingual in SpanishPreferred Qualifications (not mandatory):Experience as a Behavioral Technician, Teacher’s Aid, Tutor, CNA, Caregiver, or in any role working with children with autism or learning disabilities

Join our dynamic team at Centria Autism as a Spanish Speaking Behavior Technician, where your passion for helping children with autism can truly make a difference. In this rewarding role, you will work closely with children, implementing tailored behavior intervention plans under the expert guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

You will utilize evidence-based techniques to foster communication, social interactions, and essential daily living skills, while effectively reducing challenging behaviors. We seek candidates who are not only committed to supporting children with autism but are also patient, compassionate, and thrive in a collaborative environment.

We provide comprehensive training, empowering you to help each child reach their fullest potential—no prior experience is necessary! However, it’s important to note that the role requires physical stamina, as you will need to stand, walk, sit, grasp, reach, bend, kneel, crouch, and occasionally lift or carry children or objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
