Qualifications

Requirements: 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in satellite communications, telecommunications, aerospace, or a related field. Strong familiarity with satellite terminologies, including but not limited to payload types, frequency bands, orbital mechanics, and link budgets. Demonstrated ability to comprehend and respond to complex technical business proposals and government/commercial RFPs. Outstanding communication, documentation, and coordination skills. Proven experience working with cross-functional teams (technical and business) to create successful proposals. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Space Science, or a related discipline is preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with satellite technology vendors, satellite operators, ground segment providers, or system integrators. Knowledge of international satellite business trends and regulatory environments. Familiarity with proposal tools such as Google Office Suite, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Adobe PDF, Canva, or professional proposal management software.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in crafting, analyzing, and responding to both technical and commercial proposals specifically within the satellite and telecommunications sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analyses and provide comprehensive responses to technical and commercial RFPs/RFIs/RFQs, with an emphasis on satellite systems and services.
  • Collaborate effectively with engineering, sales, and management teams to develop precise and competitive proposal responses.
  • Translate technical requirements from potential clients into actionable insights that align with our internal capabilities.
  • Keep abreast of the latest satellite communication terminologies, industry standards, and market trends.
  • Oversee the complete proposal development lifecycle, ensuring timely submissions and high-quality documentation.
  • Regularly review and enhance proposal templates, technical narratives, and solution descriptions.
  • Assist in pre-sales meetings, provide technical clarifications, and follow up post-proposal submissions.
