wshgroup is hiring a Sous Chef for Events in London. This position supports the Head Chef in preparing and delivering meals for a range of events. The role involves hands-on food preparation, menu planning, and upholding high standards of food safety and hygiene. Training and guiding kitchen staff is also a key part of the job.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist with planning event menus and developing new dishes
- Prepare and cook food for various functions
- Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards
- Train and support kitchen staff during events
- Work closely with the Head Chef and the wider team to ensure smooth service
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar kitchen leadership role
- Strong skills in food preparation and presentation
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to work well under pressure, especially during busy events
- Enthusiasm for working with quality ingredients and creating memorable experiences
