Role Overview
As the Sourcing Manager for Infrastructure Supply Chain, you will spearhead the development and implementation of sourcing strategies for compute, storage, and networking equipment as well as infrastructure services that support hyperscale data center operations. Your role will involve cultivating and maintaining relationships with OEMs, ODMs, component manufacturers, and service providers to meet capacity, cost efficiency, quality, and innovation goals.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct market analysis including trends, commodity pricing, and supply dynamics, providing valuable insights to engineering and business teams regarding total cost of ownership, lead times, and innovation opportunities.
Identify, assess, and qualify suppliers; manage these relationships to ensure excellence in delivery, quality, cost, and innovation metrics through scorecards and quarterly reviews.
Oversee competitive bidding, RFx processes, and negotiations with OEMs, ODMs, and networking vendors.
Lead contract negotiations covering pricing, terms, SLAs, and warranties; manage agreements to comply with procurement policies and governance standards.
Collaborate with capacity planning, engineering, and program management teams to anticipate infrastructure requirements and synchronize procurement timelines with deployment schedules.
Develop and execute long-term category strategies for compute servers, storage, networking equipment, and infrastructure services.
