What’s the opportunity?

We are in search of a talented Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic Customer Solutions Team. In this position, you will engage directly with our customers as a trusted advisor, playing a crucial role in defining and showcasing the value of our offerings throughout the sales process. Your natural curiosity, independent thinking, and strong problem-solving capabilities will allow you to collaborate closely with Product, R&D, and Engineering teams to ensure that our customers' needs and insights are central to our AI-powered solutions.

What will I be doing?

  • Lead technical discovery to identify and fulfill customer needs.
  • Deliver an outstanding pre-sales experience by effectively communicating Intercom's value and technical prowess.
  • Conduct meaningful, value-based solution reviews and in-depth technical sessions.
  • Design and execute tailored Proof of Concepts (POCs) that exhibit Intercom's capabilities.
  • Act as the primary resource for RFPs and customer security inquiries, leveraging standardized materials and addressing complex issues as needed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to advocate for the customer voice, collecting feedback and insights for product development.
  • Build trust with customers by approaching challenges with empathy and curiosity.
  • Continuously enhance processes and contribute to developing a best-in-class Solutions Engineering playbook at Intercom.
  • Commit to customer success, ensuring lasting value and proactively resolving challenges.
